Adır Island ((トルコ語:Adır Adası)) or Lim Island ((アルメニア語:Լիմ կղզի) ''Lim kghzi''), is an island in Lake Van. During the Armenian genocide upwards of 12,000 Armenian women and children, crossed to the isle over a period of three days while a few dozen men covered their retreat from Hamidiye regiments. The Situation became soon critical because of a lack of food. The Armenian Monastery on the island was called St. George or Sourp Kevork.〔(【引用サイトリンク】url=http://www.easternturkeytour.org/pdf/tour-pilgrimage.pdf )〕 It was built in 1305 and expanded in 1621 and 1766. The Monastery is currently in ruins.〔 The island also contains a cemetery of Armenian khachkars.〔 ==Gallery== File:Lim Monastery4.JPG|Lim Armenian Monastery in 2009 File:Lim Monastery3.JPG|Lim Armenian Monastery in 2009 File:Lim Monastery1.JPG|Lim Armenian Monastery in 2009 File:Lim Monastery.JPG |Armenian writing on the Monastery in 2009 抄文引用元・出典: フリー百科事典『 ウィキペディア(Wikipedia)』 ■ウィキペディアで「Adır Island」の詳細全文を読む スポンサード リンク
